I'm going to have to add some edit notes to past theories with new information I've learnt from replaying it twice more. I might only do some as my posts are not very long and it takes quite quick to get to the most likely theory anyway. (Posting it soon...)

But looking at the parallels now...it makes sense. Soh was once Yoshiro, the role. The Messenger is the previous Maiden and so they naturally synchronize with each other.
New Kunitsu-Gami theories...always exciting. I like them all. Every theory I've thought of or come across is satisfying in some way. The pair being one, the pair swapping roles every cycle, Soh as the goddess, the Pair as the goddess. This new theory is depressing though...
