Purging Soh from defilement purges Yoshiro as well. There's no more grey lilac streak in her hair which is present from the beginning. Cursed Soh is also heavily implied to be the previous Yoshiro. So, they're one in the same.

Birth of the Goddess is the scroll that follows Phantom Paths. Since they both descended to hep mankind and possibly swap roles, I wonder if together they're the Goddess herself.
EDIT:
This is wrong! The streak only appears after the second cutscene when she's first hit with defilement. I kept thinking they were one because I thought Yoshiro is her actual her name. It isn't. These are roles played and the chosen girl eventually plays both.
