In my main theory post, I said the kanji was:御阿礼. 'Miarei'.
According to this, it's actually read: みあれ. Miare.
Miare: Also written as Omare, it means the birth of a new god or noble person.

It's a Shinto term for a new god being born. It's also another word for 'Kamo Shrine'.(not relevant)
I interpret it, other than Soh becoming a Goddess after 7 generations, but that Yoshiro gets a new life and so does Soh. The cycle normally would end in Yoshiro becoming enshrined and Soh's spirit laying dormant within her crystallized body. But now both are free from this generational curse.
Generational curse is a funny term here because Yoshiro is 'generation' and indeed, the chosen Maiden is cursed this way to walk the Path.
I wonder if Kunitsu-Gami is sung by Yoshiro and Kunitsu-Kami is sung by Soh.
The latter sings 'please don't become tainted'. Maybe it's Soh's words to her descendant.
I have yet to analyze the lyrics though...
