Complaining about nothing and heavenly goddesses...(delete later and keeping the cute Yoshiro)

'Meow!'
I keep learning new things and having to rewrite posts. I have a few posts that I'm stuck trying to fix and re-organize.

The word 'kami' is diverse...

It's also difficult because some concepts are unique and the director of Kunitsu-Gami also interpreted and created his own lore...

Everything is intertwined as well, a theme of the game itself.

If I want to write on one topic, I end up writing about another as well. My posts might be repetitive but since individual posts show up in search results, it might be for the best because for a new person, it might be the first and last post they ever read on here.

I have a new theory that the 'Mountain Goddess' is the term given to the agriculture goddess I think Soh is and that she's actually the descended form of a heavenly kami. Which is why she descends from heaven.

I wonder if the director thought 'what if a Amatsukami became a Kunitsukami when it descended?'

Or what if fusing with maidens turned her into a Kunitsukami?

After all, why would a Mountain Goddess have the ability to purify? To bestow masks related to agriculture, yes. But purification powers seems a little...heavenly.

Soh= Mountain Goddess= Emanation of Heavenly Goddess.

Heavenly Goddess...who is she? Could it be the sun goddess? After all, she's referenced in a plaque and there are many easter eggs.

If the True Goddess is Amaterasu and the Mountain Goddess is meant to be also an Agriculture Goddess, inspired by her relationship with agriculture...hmmm.

I'm playing with this theory in my mind...

But this game having its own lore makes it more exciting. It means learning about things isn't enough. I need to figure out how ideas were interpreted by the writer. A puzzle...

I also realized the masks are related to agriculture and social roles! And Soh bestows the masks! So they do indeed belong to the Goddess?

I also wanted to write a comment on Ten's latest post about the things I've read about the Rice Field God but I need to format nicely to lessen issues with google translate.
